Ditto Music: In the beginning
Matt and Lee are in a band trying to get signed
3rd August: Matt and Lee found 'Average Bear Records' to release their own music.
25th December: Matt and Lee's first single is released, hits the back-end of the UK charts and disappears quickly.
January: Following demand from friends to release their music as well, Average Bear Records becomes 'Ditto Music'. Clients build slowly throughout 2006. Matt and Lee are working from their grotty flat in Birmingham<
January: Ditto engineer the first UK Top 40 single by an unsigned act, entering the Guinness Book of World Records and gaining worldwide press.
March: Ditto move into their first office in Birmingham
December: Ditto distribute 7 UK Top 40 singles in total, all with unsigned acts.
May 2008 - April 2009: The TV show 'Ditto Music Live' becomes a hit on SKY television in the UK. Ditto acts gain mass exposure alongside big names.
October 2009: Another UK Top 40 hit for an unsigned Ditto act
August: Ditto opens Liverpool office and all staff relocate
February: US office opens on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee
December: 3 UK Top 40 hits for Ditto acts
Ditto nominated for multiple awards for growth in the US after client-base increases ten-fold.
April: Ditto Music nominated as 'Best Distributor' at the Music Week Awards
May: Australian office opens in Melbourne
September: Ditto artists achieve US Billboard success
October: London Office opens
